Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Good honours degree or equivalent and qualified teacher status (QTS)

Ability to teach throughout the age range up to and including A level

Ability to teach English (preferable, not essential)

Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating successful lessons

Personal commitment to professional development

Ability to work co-operatively with others

Ability to use IT for at least one (and preferably both) of teaching and administrative work

Potential to contribute towards the school’s extra-curricular programme (preferable, not essential)

Understanding of and support for the school’s Christian ethos

We require someone who is enthusiastic, with a strong subject knowledge and who enjoys working in a strong team environment. We would expect the successful candidate to be able to teach at all key stages.
