Job Description

We are working with a well-established Further Education provider in Cambridge who are looking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Electrical Installation Lecturer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician or current lecturer to step into a rewarding role where you'll be shaping the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

You'll play a key role in supporting learner achievement, maintaining high standards within the department, and helping students develop the technical skills needed for industry success.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging Electrical Installation lessons across a range of qualifications
  • Teach both practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum
  • Support learners with progression, achievement, and employability skills
  • Carry out assessments, marking, and course administration

Requirements

  • Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
  • Strong industry experience within Electrical Installation
  • Teaching/training experience preferred but not essential
  • Teaching qualification desirable or willingness to work towards one
