The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers for one of the UK's fastest-growing logistics companies.
This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity offering consistent work, competitive pay, and the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidates. Immediate starts are available.
The Role- Class 1 tramping work operating modern, well-maintained Volvo, Mercs and Scania trucks
- Using Euroliner trailers carrying general haulage including timber, steel, and other goods from Immingham Docks across the UK
- Assigned vehicle where possible, providing consistency and familiarity
- Monday to Friday working pattern, with occasional Saturday shifts available
- Supportive and experienced transport team that understands the demands of tramping
- Reliable workload providing steady miles without unnecessary pressure
- £16.00 per hour (weekday rate)
- £17.00 per hour (Night rate)
- £19.00 per hour (Saturdays)
- £20.00 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays)
- £25.00 night out allowance
- Predominantly Monday to Friday, allowing for a strong work-life balance
- Full UK Category CE licence held for at least 2 years
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
- Good knowledge of the UK road network
- A professional and dependable approach to work
