About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef specialising in authentic Jamaican cuisine to join our team. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of traditional Jamaican cooking methods, seasoning, presentation, and cultural food standards.
The chef must be able to prepare high-quality Jamaican signature dishes with consistency, flavour, and authenticity.
Key Responsibilities
The chef will be responsible for:
Preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic Jamaican meals to a high standard.
Creating and managing menus based on traditional Jamaican cuisine.
Ensuring food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in line with food safety regulations.
Managing kitchen stock, ingredients, preparation schedules, and portion control.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional kitchen environment.
Supporting the development of new dishes, specials, and catering menus.
Ensuring excellent taste, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

A Food Hygiene Certificate, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
