Summary

A growing and highly respected fire engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Fire Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer seeking exposure to a genuinely varied project portfolio alongside clear progression and professional development opportunities.

The role will involve working across a diverse range of sectors and projects, including both new build developments and retrospective fire strategies for existing buildings. You’ll gain experience delivering technically challenging solutions while collaborating with a supportive and experienced team.

The Role

• Producing fire strategies for new build and existing buildings
  
• Supporting retrospective fire safety assessments and remediation projects
  
• Working on projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, and education sectors
  
• Liaising with clients, design teams, and approval authorities
  
• Assisting with fire engineering calculations and technical reports
  
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
  

  Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
    
  • Previous experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment
    
  • Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and guidance
    
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
    
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
