Summary
West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is a national endoscopy training centre and regional endoscopy academy training centre. This post is to support delivery of Endoscopy training in West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Endoscopy Department. The post holder will co-ordinate Endoscopy Medical Education Training Programmes and National Joint Advisory Group (JAG) Training courses for the Gastroenterology department. This will include the delivery of the Regional Academy Endoscopy training programmes, monitoring of the JETS e-portfolio system for trainees and the annual review of progress. To act as the first point of contact for patients who are referred for endoscopic investigations, into the trust. Undertaking the booking of a variety of endoscopic procedures and contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of all designated lists. We are looking to recruit an organised, proactive and compassionate individual with excellent communication and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work calmly under pressure, manage competing priorities, and communicate sensitively. A flexible and team-focused approach is essential, along with a strong commitment to confidentiality, data protection and high standards of patient care.
