About the Role

We are currently seeking passionate and nurturing Level 3 Nursery Nurses to work within Baby Rooms in a variety of nurseries across Bromley and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced childcare professionals who have a genuine love for working with babies aged 0–2 years and are looking for flexible agency work or their next permanent role within a high-quality nursery setting.

You’ll be joining friendly, supportive teams and playing a vital role in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment during the earliest stages of children’s development.

Key Responsibilities

As a Baby Room Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Provide high-quality care for babies aged 0–2 years in line with the EYFS framework
• Support babies’ emotional, physical, and developmental needs through nurturing interactions and play
• Plan and engage in sensory and age-appropriate activities that encourage early development
• Follow babies’ individual routines, including feeding, sleeping, and nappy changing
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating baby room environment
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and milestones
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on their child’s day
• Follow safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare
• Previous experience working within a baby room or early years setting
• A warm, caring, and patient nature with a genuine passion for working with babies
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development for under 2s
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
