Summary
This role is office-based; however, it also offers some agile or remote working.
Join our dynamic and busy Adult Social Care mental health team! We are dedicated to providing exceptional support and services to our community. We are looking for a motivated and flexible Administrative Officer to be a part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and formulate recording of funding agreements.
Take minutes for a variety of meetings.
Ensure confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
Provide a range of administrative support within the Care Management teams.
Arrange and minute meetings (virtual, hybrid, and in-person).
Utilize digital tools including Microsoft 365 and other applications.
Update and maintain Council systems, including data cleansing.
Collect, input, interpret, and share data appropriately.
Facilitate, process, and distribute information (telephone calls, letters, emails, etc.).
Support financial processes such as purchasing, reconciling using Government Procurement Cards, petty cash, and purchase orders.
Develop and maintain a generic skill set for use across the directorate and its formal partnerships.
Requirements:
Flexibility and ability to be self-motivated.
Conscientious and thoughtful approach to work.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Practical experience within an administrative environment.
Good ICT skills, including use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, OneNote).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Numerate and accurate with attention to detail.
Understanding of how to deal with customers appropriately.
Educated to GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent in English and Maths.
Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
