About the Role

As a Senior HR Business Partner at Unipart - UK Logistics and Transport - you will work in partnership and be accountable with the
Business Director, Senior HR Leaders / Business Partners, and key stakeholders to shape, develop, and deliver people business
plans and solutions. Operating as the HR expert, to coach, advise, guide, and support senior leaders by providing strategic
people management and development support, providing highly engaged and capable individuals and teams. You will formulate and
execute initiatives relating to the people strategy, providing internal and external customer support and driving innovative
people solutions to deliver strategic plans.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

* Identify HR priorities, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned
to business objectives taking into consideration legislation and culture

* Be involved in strategic aspects and complex decision making across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, TUPE,
restructuring, attraction, resourcing, retention, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement,
organisational capability and performance management

* Provide coaching, thought leadership, challenge, advice and guidance to your stakeholders on people strategy and employment
matters; influencing leadership around the people agenda

* Accountable for ensuring key stakeholders are consulted on relevant changes such as legislation, restructures, redundancies and
embedding into policies and processes appropriately

* Analyse and draw insights from HR data and information to support benchmarking and the development of HR strategies and
solutions, and ensure that reporting requirements are satisfied through the provision of management information

* Own the development, implementation and negotiation of pay and reward strategy e.g. through support with pay negotiations

* Develop and maintain good relations with the recognised forums, works councils and/or trade unions and leading on negotiations
where necessary

* Direct and coach the HRBP’s and/or the HR Consultants in their roles to support the delivery of the HR strategy, including
working with People Services and other Centres of Excellence

* Active participation in your area's profits and costs on a monthly basis - understanding and active participation with relevant
Customer Engagement activity, business reviews, and new business conversations




About You

We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this
role!

* Educated to Graduate level, CIPD qualified or equivalent

* Experience of leading a HR team

* Experience of developing HR strategy - underpinned by commercial and financial acumen

* Experience of developing and coaching business teams and increasing team capability

* Recruitment experience at senior manager and director level

* Experience in working and influencing in a stakeholder and customer driven environment - professional courage and influencing
skills

* Situational decision making

* Experience of delivery in an environment with high organisational change
