We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the delivery of a high-quality Facilities Management service, working closely with the Assistant Facilities Manager and wider FM team.​

This role will support customers and stakeholders by contributing to the day-to-day operation of facilities services and ensuring service quality is maintained at all times.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who will play a key role in front-of-house activity, administrative support and service coordination.​

The position includes shared responsibility for reception cover between 8:30am and 4:45pm and involves close liaison with the Assistant Facilities Manager, clients and colleagues to deliver a consistent and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

Providing front-of-house services, including welcoming visitors and supporting them appropriately

Supporting reception desk cover between 8:30am and 4:45pm, shared with colleagues

Ensuring security procedures are followed at all times

Delivering support services including porterage, meeting room management and managing the FM mailbox

Coordinating inductions for new starters, including health & safety and environmental inductions

Logging, facilitating and overseeing reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits

Supporting compliance with environmental and HSEQ standards, including audits and assessments

Providing general administrative support and assisting with low to medium risk projects

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong customer service skills, with facilities management experience considered desirable

Confident and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable taking responsibility, including involvement in risk assessments

Willingness to undertake First Aid training

Team player with a customer-focused approach

Strong problem-solving skills
