Summary
Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for POS systems, customer management applications, and retail technology platforms.
Create wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups, and workflow designs for mobile and web applications.
Conduct UI and UX research to improve customer experience and system usability.
Collaborate with software developers and technical teams to implement application interface improvements.
Design responsive web interfaces compatible with desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Support the development of commercial retail software products and internal business systems.
Analyse user behaviour and operational requirements to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
Develop visual layouts, dashboards, menus, and navigation systems for digital applications.
Participate in usability testing, application reviews, and interface quality improvement processes.
Maintain consistency of branding and visual standards across digital platforms.
Assist in improving e-commerce functionality, online booking systems, and customer support portals.
Produce technical design documentation and interface specifications where required.
Stay updated with emerging trends in UI/UX technologies, digital retail systems, and application design standards.
Essential Skills & Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in:
Web Design
UI/UX Design
Computer Science
Digital Media
Software Engineering or related field.
Experience in:
UI/UX design,
application interface development,
web technologies,
or digital product design.
Knowledge of:
Adobe XD,
Photoshop,
HTML/CSS,
responsive web design,
user-centred design principles.
Understanding of:
retail technology systems,
POS systems,
customer-facing applications,
and digital workflow optimisation.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced business environment.
