A highly regarded seafood restaurant in Padstow is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team. The restaurant is known for its daily-changing small plates menu, focusing on exceptional fish and shellfish sourced fresh each day.
This is a year-round, permanent opportunity in a busy, high-quality, and professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
• Running and managing a designated section of the kitchen
• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to specification
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef during service
• Maintaining consistency, speed, and presentation standards
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met
• Assisting with stock control and prep across shifts
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and service pressure
• Passion for seafood, fresh produce, and seasonal cooking
• Ability to work well within a focused, professional kitchen team
• Reliable, organised, and detail-driven approach
