Summary
The post holder will be responsible for delivering QOF and ensuring quality and service targets are met. In addition, the post holder will have management responsibility for quality standards, in particular data quality and will manage data quality issues. They will ensure the practice remains compliant with Information Governance and data protection regulations. The postholder will be directly responsible for the management of the Data Quality and administrative staff teams. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The post holder is required to: Quality, QOF, INFORMATION GOVERNANCE Responsible for ensuring and maintaining high standards of data quality Ensure appropriate systems are in place to meet national, local and practice quality standards and targets for chronic disease management are met. (QOF) Ensure practice procedures are in place to manage and respond to external requests for data e.g. SARS, Insurance Reports. Ensure the completion Data Security & Protection Toolkit (DPST) ensuring all standards are met and implemented Manage the Patient Participation Group and ensure levels of patient satisfaction Ensures that the Practice complies with Data Protection legislation and Information Governance requirements in order to maintain confidentiality of patient and business information, making sure all staff are trained and understand their responsibilities. Organisational Support and participate as necessary, in the HR management of the Practice, with particular responsibility for the line management of the Data Quality Manager and subordinate teams. With other Senior Managers, be responsible for day-to-day management of estates and facilities ensuring that Practice premises are properly maintained, cleaned and that adequate fire prevention and security systems are in place. Liaise with the Primary Care Network (PCN) and locality commissioners, attending meetings and promoting collaborative working. Keep up to date with developments and changes within Primary Care Provide support and advice to the partnership Mange contracts and maintenance for Practice equipment e.g. PAT Testing, calibration of equipment Ensure on-going CQC compliance Keep abreast of the latest development in Primary care IT Ensure that practice staff has effective IT data security, back-up, maintenance ensuring compliance with legislation and the Data Security Protection Toolkit (DSPT).
