Summary
Leading UK law firm seeks a highly organised, proactive Legal Secretary / Team Administrator to support its established Private Client and Agricultural Law teams. You’ll join a respected practice advising high‑net‑worth individuals, families, trustees, landowners, farmers and rural businesses across wealth planning, estates, agriculture, rural property, renewable energy and tax matters.
Key responsibilities
Produce and amend legal documents accurately and in line with house style
Maintain precise electronic and paper filing systems
Process new client paperwork and compliance documentation
Manage diaries, appointments and travel arrangements
Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries
Support file management and administrative workflows
Use HMRC and HM Land Registry portals for submissions
Liaise with clients and third parties including agents, brokers and investors
Provide proactive support to fee earners and the wider team
What we’re looking for
Previous administration or legal support experience
Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail
Strong spelling, grammar and communication skills
Proactive, professional manner; able to work well under pressure
Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
Good IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Advantageous: experience in a legal or professional services environment
