We are looking for an experienced and motivated Transport Manager to join our Municipal & Environmental Services team in Lambeth. Transport Manager Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure full compliance with Operator Licence requirements and UK road transport legislation
- Manage fleet maintenance schedules in line with manufacturer recommendations and compliance standards
- Oversee daily vehicle availability to support operational service delivery
- Monitor and manage third-party maintenance and service providers
- Manage vehicle defects, incidents, breakdowns, and ensure prompt resolution and reporting
- Maintain accurate fleet and compliance records, including driver qualifications and asset documentation
- Support operational teams by ensuring fleet reliability and efficiency
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- National Transport Manager CPC qualification
- Strong understanding of UK and EU road transport legislation
- Previous experience managing fleets within a complex operational environment
- Excellent organisational and compliance management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to manage operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
