What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a member of staff to work within our Student Services Office, supporting the pastoral welfare of students throughout the day. You will need to be able to establish positive relationships with students, parents, staff and external agencies, working in line with the school’s vision and values. You will be providing high quality pastoral support, ensuring punctuality, and high levels of attendance, as well as intervening in behavioural and safeguarding issues. You will join a team of staff committed to improving the life chances of all young people in their care. You must have excellent ICT and organisational skills and be confident in working with students and staff alike. It is essential that you are able to develop positive relationships and effective working practices to be able to support young people and their families. You must be pro-active and flexible. A commitment to improving the outcomes of all students is essential.
