Position: 360 Excavator Operator / 360 Operative

Location: Darlington

Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start)

Duration: Ongoing (Long-term project)

Hourly Rate: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour (CIS)

Are you an experienced 360 Excavator Operator looking for immediate work in the Darlington area? We are seeking a reliable and skilled operator to join a fast-paced commercial construction project.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 360-degree excavator on-site, performing essential groundwork duties for the development of a new commercial building.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating the 360 Excavator (likely above 10-tonne) safely and efficiently.

  • Digging concrete foundations, trenches, and general excavation.

  • Breaking out and moving materials, including tarmac and rubble.

  • Assisting with lifting operations (if certified and required).

  • Working closely with groundworkers and site management to keep the project on schedule.

  • Conducting daily plant checks and reporting any defects.

Requirements:
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS card with the relevant 360 Excavator ticket (Above 10 tonne is highly desirable).

  • Demonstrable experience operating a 360 Excavator in a construction environment.

  • Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

  • Reliable transport to the site location in Darlington.
