Summary

Social Worker – Adult Social Care

Across Cornwall – Locations available in Truro, Redruth, Hayle, Liskeard & Bude

Monday to Friday | 8:45am – 5:15pm
£25.38 per hour
Weekly PAYE pay every Friday + holiday pay

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join a busy Adult Social Care team supporting vulnerable adults with health and social care needs.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred assessments, care planning, safeguarding, intervention, and review work while promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for service users and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out statutory assessments, reviews, and support planning
  
• Manage complex caseloads involving vulnerable adults and families
  
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
  
• Promote safeguarding and ensure legal responsibilities are met
  
• Support individuals with complex needs including dementia, mental health, and family crisis situations
  
• Maintain accurate case records and reports
  
• Work within relevant legislation, policies, and professional standards
  

  Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant social work qualification
    
  • Current Social Work England registration
    
  • Experience within Adult Social Care
    
  • Strong assessment, safeguarding, and care planning experience
    
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and organisational skills
    
  • Ability to manage complex and sensitive situations professionally
    
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
