A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a newly refurbished small animal veterinary practice in Essex. Offering a salary of up to £31,000 per year, alongside an excellent benefits package, this role is ideal for an experienced or developing RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to thrive in a supportive and progressive clinical environment.
The practice is well-established and equipped with excellent facilities, including an in-house laboratory, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, and modern surgical equipment, enabling the clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care across a varied caseload of cats, dogs, and small mammals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse seeking to further develop their clinical interests, utilise Schedule 3 nursing skills, run nurse-led clinics, and work alongside an experienced and collaborative veterinary team committed to maintaining high clinical standards and team wellbeing.
The Role
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care to patients and clients while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Typical responsibilities will include:
• Delivering outstanding patient care through nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures
• Supporting veterinary consultations, surgeries, and clinical procedures
• Monitoring patients and providing inpatient care
• Managing patient admissions and discharges
• Delivering exceptional client care and communication
• Working collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive veterinary team
• Ensuring compliance with all RCVS, regulatory, operational, and practice standards
