Summary
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Care Worker to provide essential support to elderly individuals living with dementia in need of care. The role involves assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of service users in Care Home settings.
Duties
- Provide personal care to service users in nursing home.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform service user care duties including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support individuals with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary
- Offer emotional support and companionship to service users
- Maintain a clean and organised living environment for service user
-Taking part in activities, escorting residents to appointments, dealing with personal care and assisting with other daily activities.
Experience
- Experience in nursing home or care home settings
- Proficiency in resident care and senior care practices
- Provide first aid when needed
Required Skills:
- Previous experience of working in a dementia environment.
- NVQ or QCF Level 2
