Summary

To start 1st September 2026 Closing date for applications: Midnight on Sunday 31st May 2026 Interview date: Friday 12th June 2026 Pro-Rated Salary: £26,306.54pa (£29,313pa FTE) We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Attendance Officer to join our team. This is a key role within the School Office, responsible for ensuring accurate daily registration and promoting excellent student attendance. You will monitor and record attendance, analyse data, and produce reports to support the Safeguarding Team, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Heads of Year, Tutors, and the Local Authority. You will also play a vital role in identifying pupils who require additional support and helping to implement effective interventions. This is a predominantly term-time-only role. The role is 40 hours per week from 8.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time and CPD days. Each working day includes a 30-minute lunch break, which is unpaid. There are 20 days to be worked in the School holidays, to support the School office and to be prepared ahead of each new School term. Working hours in School holidays are 9.00am to 3.00pm. Candidates should have experience working with databases, handling data accurately, and producing clear and reliable reports. They will also be a collaborative team player, able to build positive working relationships across the School. The role requires someone calm, resilient and professional, with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times. Experience with school systems such as SIMS or CPOMS, along with an understanding of safeguarding, would be advantageous. Further details and an application form may be found on our website.
