Summary
We are looking for an outstanding leader who is both compassionate and visionary to lead our Community Nursing Services.
You will be an experienced Community Nursing Leader who thrives in complex environments and has determination and resilience to drive improvements in community care. You will have a proven track record of leading change in a community setting.
You will provide strategic nursing leadership for our community nursing services, ensuring safe high-quality and patient-centred care.

• The Head ofNursingwillprovideseniorleadership.
• The postholder will support the Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) to manage the operational performanceofcommunity services.
• Thepostholderactsasdelegated leadforsafety,quality, governanceandpatientexperience.
• Thepostholderwillworkwiththeservice todevelopthestrategicdirection andvision which maximises business efficiency, effectiveness, flexibility and staff morale.
• Theywillsupportthedevelopmentofaculturewithincommunity services,whichisopen and transparent that supports and empowers innovation, creativity and learning both atalllevels.
• The Head ofNursing willprovidestrongvisibleand professional leadership to nursing and allied healthcare staff across community services.
• Theywillbeaccountableforthedirectdeliveryof safe,effectiveclinicalcareandwilladvise the Senior Management Team on professional nursing and other clinical staff groups (AHPs) issues.
• The postholder will be the service lead and link for both the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Director of Nursing on all nursing related matters.
• TheHead of Nursingwillworkwithseniormanagersacrosstheorganisationto ensure effective patient flow whilst maintaining quality of care.
• Thepostholderwillparticipateinthe Trust's on call rota.
