For questions about this job, contact: Alex Wright Head of Research Infrastructure Alexander.wright5@nhs.net What you will bring to the role As part of this post a successful candidate will be expected to have a doctoral qualification (or close to completion) in AI in healthcare or a similar field, with a good understanding of DP imaging and the routine issues that affect AI development and accuracy. The primary role of the position will be to implement and evaluate the viability of digital pathology AI diagnostic tools, in terms of accuracy and reliability, and therefore requires excellent technical and analytical skills. Additionally, the role will involve developing a broad range of AI tools and technical solutions to assist with a diverse range of research projects within the programme. A successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, whilst managing and prioritising their work independently. The role will require professionalism and high standards of communication, especially when providing reports to senior management and communicating complex technical information to stakeholders.
