Summary
Rate of pay £15 per hour.
Happy, affectionate and energetic seven year old non-verbal girl with autism, who lives in Gorebridge, looking for a personal assistant. Duties will include helping the young person to go out and play or play safely at home, and will also include some personal care.
It is preferrable that the postholder have experience supporting young children with autism. It is essential that the postholder is a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join.
A shift will last two hours and include the personal assistant picking up the child from school around 3 pm. There will be a minimum of two shifts per week on a Tuesday and Wednesday. There may be opportunities for further shifts outwith school hours.
