Summary
KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from May 2026

This KS2 Teacher role offers the opportunity to work full time within a supportive primary school setting on a long-term, ongoing basis. The KS2 Teacher will focus on delivering high-quality classroom teaching using existing planning and resources, with no planning or marking required. This role is ideal for a confident KS2 Teacher who enjoys teaching without additional workload and can provide consistency for pupils from May 2026 onwards.
Duties as KS2 Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons using pre-prepared plans and resources
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
- Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement in learning
- Adapt delivery to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
- Work collaboratively with support staff and colleagues
- Provide feedback to pupils during lessons to support understanding
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
- Reliable and committed to a full-time, long-term role
- Flexible and adaptable teaching approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
