Summary


The Facilities department at Dorset County Hospital are excited to announce that we are looking for Security Supervisors, joining our expanding security team providing a 24/7 Security Service throughout the hospital.

We are looking to fulfil 5 posts, full and part time, working to a set shift rotation - for more shift information please contact Lisa Rowland, Security Team Lead.

A background in Security is desirable but not essential as full training in security within a health care setting will be given.

The Security Supervisor is required to assist the Security Team Lead in the day to day running of the security service deputising in their absence and undertaking general duties.

The Security Supervisor will co-ordinate and work as part of a team in the professional delivery of a high-quality multi-tasking Security service to patients, clients and visitors to Dorset County Hospital Foundation Trust.

The post-holder will supervise the Security team and work closely with all members of staff in ensuring the delivery of a high quality service. This will require the utilisation of good administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. All staff members within the facilities departments have a shared responsibility to service the needs of the department.

The Security Supervisor Assists the Security Lead in the management, coordination and the smooth day to day running of the facilities services.
