NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a specialist primary SEN provision in Leeds.

This role involves supporting students aged 5-11 with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH, behavioural needs, GDD, SLCN and complex needs. We are looking for passionate, resilient and nurturing individuals who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support to pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.

Both supply and full-time opportunities are available, with immediate starts for suitable candidates.
- Supporting pupils aged 5-11 within a specialist SEN setting
- Working closely with children with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH, behavioural needs, GDD, SLCN and complex needs
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Assisting teachers with classroom management and learning activities
- Supporting communication, emotional regulation and social development
- Helping to create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
- Previous SEN experience is essential
- Previous primary school experience is essential
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
