Summary
Glangwili Hospital provides all emergency surgical and orthopaedic theatre services within Carmarthenshire and has daily CEPOD and trauma lists. All in patient Paediatric and Consultant led Maternity services for Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire are based in Glangwili, with a current delivery rate of 2,900 per year. Carmarthenshire is a beautiful part of Wales with fantastic culture, competitive house prices and ready access to the outdoors both costal and mountains as well as good transport links to urban centres in SE Wales and England via the M4 and the South Wales mainline. In addition, the Intensive Care Unit benefits from a Clinical Psychologist embedded within the team, providing accessible, specialist support and promoting a compassionate and supportive working culture.
