Call-out: Optional / rota-based (paid)
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider, maintaining a portfolio of commercial buildings across London and the surrounding M25 areas.
The role involves delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance, ensuring plant and systems operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial sites
Maintenance and fault finding on HVAC systems, boilers, AHUs, FCUs and pumps
Supporting basic BMS operation and fault diagnosis
Carrying out small mechanical works and remedials
Monitoring plant performance and energy efficiency
Completing statutory checks and compliance paperwork
Liaising with clients and site teams in a professional manner
Accurate use of CAFM systems for job reporting
Requirements
Mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
Strong experience within facilities management / commercial environments
HVAC and building services maintenance background
F-Gas qualification (desirable but not essential)
Knowledge of water treatment / Legionella awareness (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
Good fault-finding skills and a customer-focused approach
