Our partner primary school in Hertford is seeking Teaching Assistants to work across the school from September for the full academic year.

The Role

  • Teaching Assistant opportunities across the primary age range

  • Full-time positions starting September 2026

  • Long-term roles for the academic year

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required

  • Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff

  • Assisting with learning activities, behaviour support and pupil wellbeing

  • Opportunities available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Ideal for experienced school support staff seeking a stable long-term role

We are looking for candidates who can offer:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting

  • A calm, adaptable and positive approach

  • Confidence supporting children across different age groups and abilities

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to supporting pupils throughout the academic year

  • Experience supporting children with additional needs would be beneficial
