Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Nursery nurse to work with the 0-19 (25 SEND) Service in North Lincolnshire.

We are seeking to employ enthusiastic and innovative Community Nursery Nurses to support and work within the 0-5 Health Visiting Pathway.As a Community Nursery Nurse you will work with Health Visitors, staff nurses and family support workers to deliver the Healthy Child Programme, using evidence based tools to support our children’s’ development.

Applications are welcomed from candidates holding theBTEC Childhood Studies, NNEB, relevant NVQ III or diploma in Childcare and educationwho are proactive and enthusiastic with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and are keen to work in North Lincolnshire. Experience of working in the community is desirable.
• To work with the 0-19 team collaboratively and with other agencies and professionals to help improve the health and well being of the population.
• To facilitate groups according to identified need.
• Provide specific and routine stimulus and co-ordinated play activities in the home environment and group settings
• To co deliver the healthy child programme through sessions, groups or in the home environment
• To participate in health education and promotion particularly in relation to child health and with families where it impacts on children such as Smoking Cessation and or healthy eating
