Summary

Long-Term SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Hyde Area
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Hyde area for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term, ongoing basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed individual looking to support pupils with additional needs within a nurturing and inclusive school environment. The role is expected to continue on a regular basis, offering consistency and the chance to become an integral part of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment


The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be adaptable and committed to long-term support roles
- Hold relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) - desirable but not essential
