About the Role
We are recruiting for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting vulnerable individuals within their own homes and supported living environments.
This is a key role ensuring individuals are safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the night while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
You will work as part of a professional and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide waking night support to individuals in their homes or supported living settings
Ensure the safety, wellbeing and comfort of individuals throughout the night
Respond appropriately to support needs or incidents during night shifts
Support with personal care where required
Administer or support with medication in line with care plans Complete accurate records and handovers for day staff
Maintain a calm, professional and reassuring presence throughout the night
About You
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate and committed individual who can work independently during night shifts.
You will have:
At least 6 months experience in a care or support role
Experience supporting vulnerable adults (preferred)
A calm and resilient approach to work
Strong communication skills
A responsible and professional attitude
A genuine passion for supporting others
