About the Company
We are recruiting for a well-established and reputable fit-out company based in Bedford, delivering high-quality commercial, retail, and interior fit-out projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to excellence, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced and motivated Temporary Site Manager.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of fit-out projects on site, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. whilst from a joinery background
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor project progress against programme and report regularly to senior management
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
• Resolve any on-site issues efficiently and effectively
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Conduct site meetings and maintain accurate site records
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and site management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple trades and meet tight deadlines
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (essential)
• Full UK driving licence
Desirable
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
