Job Title: Assistant Pastor / Ministry Leader
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: A committed evangelical/Pentecostal Christian with a strong personal faith and testimony.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver Bible study materials and teachings.
Experience in leading congregational worship and supporting church services.
Proven involvement in evangelism, including outreach activities and programme planning.
Ability to organise, lead, and provide pastoral care, particularly within women’s ministry groups.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity to West African and/or Caribbean communities; ability to speak at least one African language is desirable.
A clear understanding of the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of these communities.
Exemplary character consistent with Christian ministry leadership, with a life reflecting strong moral and spiritual values.
Formal training in ministry and/or evidence of pastoral ordination is preferred.
Experience in leading worship within an African or multicultural church context is an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral care and support to a diverse congregation, including individuals from minority ethnic backgrounds and those whose first language is not English.
Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to the challenges faced by migrant communities, offering appropriate spiritual and practical support.
Support the Lead Pastor and church leadership in the growth and development of the ministry.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of church programmes, services, and outreach initiatives.
Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Lead Pastor.
