Job: Trainee Industrial Sewing Machinist
We have an amazing opportunity with full training to become an Industrial Sewing Machinist.
Working with a great enthusiastic team you will be trained inhouse to use various sewing and pattern cutting machines.
You will be trained to assemble a wide variety of products, mostly by sewing, while working to drawings and following set processes which you will be instructed on. When you are fully trained and fully competent, you will be responsible for the full product process from cutting patterns from raw material through to packing and labelling of products. You will work with a small, dedicated team and you will learn from their shared experience. Full training will be given but you will demonstrate reliability and dedication with a sense of pride in your work. You must also be able to read and write, be confident with numbers and be computer literate.
You will work a four-day week!!!!!! You will have Fridays off so you can enjoy a three-day weekend and on bank holiday weekends a four-day weekend without using any holiday allocation!!!! Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 38 hours per week.
