We are currently looking for additions to our team for our home in South Shields both - permanent dayshift, nightshift and also bank support.

Applicants must be passionate about effecting long term change in the lives of vulnerable children and young people by providing essential support that enables them to reach their full potential.

Duties will include; actively and effectively safeguarding and promoting the rights of children and young people, teaching life skills and coping strategies, building confidence, self-esteem and resilience, accompanying them to and from education, facilitating family time, creating a warm, comforting and homely environment including all daily household tasks and encouraging participation in local activities and hobbies. The role also involves the monitoring, recording and completion of all relevant paperwork involved with the young person’s care. Applicants without a driving licence will be considered in line with balancing the teams needs as well as the Equality Act.
