Summary


CLCH Barnet Inpatient Bedded Units is Recruiting- CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the North Central Division is recruiting!

Adams Ward, Finchley Memorial Hospital are currently looking for band 4 Technical Instructor to work on the inpatient rehabilitation wards to support the rehabilitation and hospital discharges.

The position offers experience of a mixed caseload of patients admitted for rehabilitation with various pathologies; including amputees, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, falls / balance impairments, orthopaedics, management of long term conditions and palliative / end of life care. The aim is to rehabilitate and maximise the patients' potential, to support and enable patients in a range of activities to promote independent living to return to their own homes to continue their rehabilitation journey with community services. .

The team consists of a wide range of professions, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, speech and language therapists, dietitians and social workers, delivering patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary ethos.

A full valid driving license is desired for this post (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Working with the therapy team you will assess and treat people within the ward environment and support their rehabilitation within the inpatient setting.

You will manage your own small caseload of patients with the support and guidance of the therapy team, completing assessments, delivering clinical interventions, providing therapy equipment and undertaking home and access visits as required, to support patients in their rehab and discharge from hospital.

You will be an autonomous practitioner who carries their own caseload and its management, planning your day to see patients, record your documentation on electronic records, order and manage equipment, and stock monitoring of satellite stores.
