About Us
Rainbow Nursery is part of Daisy and Rainbow Childcare, a long-established local charity offering high-quality early years care. We provide a nurturing, play-based environment for children aged 3 months–4 years, with a strong focus on creativity, exploration, and partnership with families.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Keyperson to support a group of 2–3-year-olds while working across the wider nursery. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with EYFS, helping children develop confidence, independence, and a positive self-image.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Keyperson for a group of children, supporting learning and development
Plan and deliver play-based activities in line with EYFS
Observe, assess, and track children’s progress
Build strong relationships with parents/carers and provide daily feedback
Support children’s care needs (e.g. meals, toileting, routines)
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
Work collaboratively with the team and support nursery routines
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies

Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification
Experience working with children under 5
Good understanding of EYFS and child development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Warm, playful, and nurturing approach
Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development

Desirable

First Aid or Food Hygiene certificate
Additional early years or SEND training
