Summary
The Role: Our standard working hours are 37.5 per week, typically worked Monday to Friday. As the service continues to develop, there will be an expectation to transition to a 7-day working model. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Physiotherapy team in developing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service on an operational day to day basis. This includes both an inpatient and outpatient service. Use highly developed clinical reasoning and an evidenced based approach in the advanced assessment and treatment of individuals with a variety of complex neurological presentations. Determine a clinical diagnosis and develop a treatment plan with holistic SMART goals alongside the patient and team. Demonstrate clinical effectiveness by use of outcomes measures. Ensure high standards of professionalism and clinical care through day-to-day management, supervision, training and staff development to ensure staff are working within their competencies. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach to service delivery. Demonstrate professional and effective communication with residents, families, MDT (and wider team at Hunters Moor), commissioners and external agencies. Work collaboratively with the therapy manager, MDT and service manager to influence development and ensure an excellent quality of care is provided. Maintain CPD and development in line with the needs of the service. Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.
