Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging one-to-one or small group tuition sessions tailored to students with SEN
- Support students in preparing for GCSE examinations
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Implement appropriate SEN support strategies to enhance learning and engagement
- Track and report on student progress
- Build confidence and motivation in learners
Requirements:
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching at GCSE level
- Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Strong subject knowledge (please specify your subject specialism when applying)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability in teaching approach
- Ability to plan and deliver structured, differentiated lessons
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
