You will be responsible for planning and delivering high‑quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring every child is supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons to a Year 4/5 class
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that meet National Curriculum requirements
Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Foster a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
Support pupils with differing learning needs and abilities
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
Maintain accurate records of attainment and development
Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
What We're Looking For
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Years 4 or 5
✅ Strong planning, organisation, and classroom management skills
✅ Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
✅ Enthusiastic, proactive, and child‑centred teaching approach
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
