Here at The Best Connection are looking for HGV Class 2 night drivers to join our client based in Winchester.
This role is a temp to perm with the opportunity to go full time with a contract. New passes are welcome.
Annual Salary - £46,000 per year
Location - Winchester
Shift Patterns - Monday to Friday (with O/T on weekends)
Start Time - 17:00pm - 03:00am
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING/REQUESTED FROM YOU:
- Driving an 18 ton water tanker and clearing Gullies of any blockages
- You will be accompanied with an operator who will clear the drains
- Working in very tight geographical areas completing designated zones
- NO multi drop or heavy lifting involved
- You will receive full training all aspects of job including heath and safety systems, processes and work completion
- Standard hours are working 17:00pm to 03:30am with 30 min break
- The work will involve moving from one gully to the next which are often in very close proximity
- Paying £17.76 per hour with overtime after 50 hours and weekends
- 32 days of annual leave
- Paid Standby which are not compulsory and paid at overtime rates
- Vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Must hold a Full UK Cat C Licence, Valid CPC and Digi Card
- No experience required
- Immediate start and subject to successfully completing a 16 week probation you will be given a permanent position.
