Support Workers – Overnight (Waking) & Evening HoursWe are seeking a caring and reliable Support Workers to provide overnight waking support and evening calls, available 7 days per week.
This role offers various contract hours, with full details discussed at interview to ensure flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, person-centred support during evening and overnight waking shifts
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and dignity
- Follow care plans and instructions while using initiative when appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
- Experienced as a support worker (desirable, not essential)
- Outgoing, motivating, and approachable
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
- Respectful of confidentiality
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Caring, compassionate, and patient
- In possession of a good sense of humour
- Full training will be provided where required
- This includes Health & Safety and any role-specific practical training
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role
- The cost of the DBS will be covered by the employer
