Bank Band 5 Staff Nurses – for our Community Hospitals in Woking and Walton

Join our Bank for competitive rates, weekly pay, flexible shift patterns and rewarding work that fits around your life!

We’re looking for caring Band 5 staff nurses to work as part of our supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary teams on our rehabilitation and sub-acute community wards. You’ll have a choice of hours and shifts to suit you: 7.15am-3.15pm, 1-9pm, 8.30pm-7.45am or long days 7.15am-9pm. School hour shifts also possible.

As a Staff Nurse you’ll be providing high quality nursing and rehabilitation care alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Care and Doctors, seeking to promote patients’ independence at every opportunity – so they are as independent as possible before they leave our care. You’ll have the chance to work autonomously for much of the time, with responsibility for making clinical decisions and judgements as part of the wider team.

Working in a community hospital means you’ll get the time to build relationships with patients and their families, involving them in their care and discharge plans.

In return for your time and commitment, we’ll give you opportunities to update your clinical skills and train in new ones, plus flexible shift patterns so you can balance work with your home and family life.
