Summary
Mount Kelly seeks an inspiring, highly motivated Sports Assistant (Football) to join our thriving and nationally recognised Girls’ Performance Football Programme, delivered in partnership with Chelsea FC. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about football, coaching, and working with young people who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive and ambitious environment.
Our Girls’ Programme has enjoyed outstanding success, including as triple back to back ISFA U18 National Champions, and continues to grow across U15-U18 pathways. We are now looking for an Assistant Coach who can contribute to this momentum through high quality delivery, strong player development and a passion for girls’ football.
This role is ideal for early career coaches, sports graduates, gap year candidates, or those looking to gain experience within a high performance school sport setting.
The Sports Assistant will support the Head Football Coach in delivering engaging and enjoyable football sessions and after school activities. Further details are available in the job description.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping our players achieve their ambitions whether progressing toward elite pathways or thriving within school competitions whilst also modelling the Mount Kelly values of Compassion, Courage, Humility, Respect, Commitment, and Integrity.
The role is part time, working 24 hours per week from Monday to Saturday, typically 4 hours per day. It is a term time only position for 34 weeks per year, including INSET days, plus an additional 10 days per year to be agreed.
Candidates should submit an application form which may be supported by a CV and/or letter outlining their suitability for the post to HR@mountkelly.com
