Summary
We have an exciting opportunity forBand 4Employment and Education Advisorto join our team based in South East Essex. Under the supervision of the manager the successful candidate will manage a caseload of people who have experienced mental health distress who wish to retain and or gain paid employment through delivering the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach to vocational rehabilitation. The post holder will work directly with mainstream educational providers and employers to secure education/employment opportunities for service users whilst providing on-going support. They will meet regularly with MDT Colleagues to co-ordinate and integrate vocational services into the recovery plan. The postholder will also prepare individuals for employment through assessing each persons individual educational/ employment needs through vocational profiling.
