We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the University as our Health and Safety Manager and play a key role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, students and wider Abertay community.
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will be the University’s dedicated H&S professional and will work with individuals and teams across the University to manage all H&S services and inspire our health and safety culture. You will provide expert professional advice and ensure effective H&S management systems across the University.
You will be a qualified H&S professional, with comprehensive knowledge of H&S and fire safety legislation and good practice. You will have substantial experience in a H&S advisory role in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, including establishing and maintaining effective H&S standards, systems, monitoring and reporting. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, and experience of leading H&S services or initiatives and of working effectively with people at all levels and with varied backgrounds and disciplines.
