Personal Assistant needed for a young adult male in the Milngavie area.
The young man is a warm and friendly person who enjoys social and leisure activities.
A typical day with him will include starting the day by assisting with medications, personal care and getting ready for the day, preparing breakfast and lunch then escorting him to an activity such as his music club or another social/leisure activity.
The young man likes to engage with outdoor and physical activities especially ones that are tailored to wheelchair users, such as adaptive cycling and ice skating.
The ideal match is someone that is enthusiastic, reliable, committed and driven to helping him achieve his own daily goals. It would suit a physically fit individual that is adaptable and happy to work with a team.
Previous experience is very helpful, an understanding of complex health issues, especially epilepsy is preferred.
The young man lives in Milngavie so it’s important you can travel to and from the area reliably.
A driving license preferred
Successful candidate will require a PVG

This role involves 14 hours per week, with some flexibility. Two 7 hours shifts per week Mon and Tues. 9am-4pm.
Wage £15.50
