Summary
One post is available and will be based at St Bartholomews Hospital and is part of Barts NHS Trust. The contract is 12 months, fixed-term and is 40:60 teaching and clinical. 40 % of the time will be dedicated to Education Delivery. 60% of the time will be undertaken with The Adult Critical Care Transfer Team. Pay scale would be in accordance with non-training grade terms and conditions. This would typically suit anyone wishing to undertake further training in transfer medicine and education prior to or as part of an Out of Programme Experience (OOPE) from their Specialist Registrar training programme. For the latter prior agreement must be sought with the relevant Specialty Training Committee (STC) and Deanery It is essential that applicants have a minimum of 12 months ICM experience as a registrar (ST4+) to work on the Critical Care Transfer Team. NHS Clinical experience is essential The post will have opportunities to be involved in other teaching programmes including Foundation Trainees, and interdisciplinary simulation training.
